Fake Stories Is A Problem

The matter about muslims making fake stories. First of all, if they are muslims and like to use humour in their dawah projects, they have to study what the quran and sunnah says about humour. Muslims are serious about holy matters.

The Great Deception

If muslims are making fake stories for fun, they should understand that Hazoor Paak (pbuh) has said: “the greatest of all deceptions is to lie to your brother (sister) while he (she) believes you.

Diverting Attention

Another problem with fake stories is that, it takes away the attention of important issues the world is facing. The fakeness increases the distrust to all kinds of stories, even the true ones lose reliability.

Wrong Incentive

If the intention of those who make fake stories is to increase the readers critical thinking while reading a story, they are using the wrong incentives, which again can lead to bad side-effects and people who doesn’t care about the world, will increase.

Question Ethics Of Journalism

People who know how powerful media is. Muslims and blacks and different ethnicities know the racism / bigotry / double standards of the media. And those oppressed by media, understand how important it is for each and every individual to develop the quality of critical thinking. If 1. of april was celebrated everyday, we would be more critical to what people told us. (1.april is not allowed in Islam). Every story any anchor in the media presents, every opinion million of viewers are watching, is coloured by the personal views of the journalist. How can we cultivate good sound ethics in this profession? In other words, since lying is more common in people, we are actually told many lies in the media everyday. Most of us, are too naive or manipulated to the extent that we believe everything we hear, without checking the reliability or the source of information. Hazoor Paak (pbuh) has said: “a person who believes everything he hears, is a liar”. Also the quran tells us to check the reliability of what we hear, hence we do some harm because of it, and later become regretful. I pray that every individual is taught how to be critical to information from the school. Not to develop mistrust, but to make them understand the whole puzzle, not just one part of the story. Although we want to protect children /teens as much as we can, we can’t. People are telling lies in faces of people. And we are not able to always tell you what is right. But with teaching children and teenager good values and critical thinking.  They will themselves become well prepared to face the world. Who is cruel to everyone. Especially those who are naive.

It Hardens Your Heart

We have come to a time, where people share news, if the presenter is beautiful. Not many notice the message as much as how the presenter is beautiful. Life is not only about hip-hop, songs, the right beard and stuff. Life will only increase us in value if we have good conduct. Laughing til you fall is probably fun in your teens, as you mature as a muslim, you will sence you soul being un-happy with your laughter, because it hardens your heart.

His Beauty Is Also His Atributes

Another problem, is when people make lies about seeing the name of Allah, in differents, fruits or vegetables or in the clouds or mountains. There is no doubt that Allah, is able to do whatever he wants. But by just seeing His (Allah) name written, doesn’t do justice to His Perfect Beauty. Allah’s beauty can be seen through His Atributes 99 names. Just as there is no doubt that Hazoor Paak (pbuh) was beautiful. But his (pbuh) beauty that melted hearts, can be known through his (pbuh) conduct, values, character, manners, forgivingness, empathy, inviting all mankind to success, humility, peacefulness, kindness, selfless giving, gestures, smiling, easygoingness, cheerfulness, spreading good, helping people who were mean to him, forbeareness, supplications, connection with his (pbuh) Creator, his (pbuh) good sence of humour, good treatment of women and children and elders, sincerity, pure love for his (pbuh) followers and all mankind, eagerness to spread Allah’s words, hopefulness, taking away others burdens, gratefulness, contentment, simplicity, godfear, taqwa, love of God, obedience to His Creator, making matters easy and halal. And the list goes on and on.

Humour Has Become “Mean”

Hazoor Paak (pbuh) dislikes people who tell lies in order to make other laugh. Hazoor Paak (pbuh) dislikes those who tell untrue stories. Hazoor Paak (pbuh) had a great sence of humour. Humour that was pure, good, lighhearted fun.  Humour today have become something “mean”, because it’s baked in telling other people’s mistakes in a funny way. We look down at you, so we make fun of you. (That involves backbiting, pride / arrogance, honor-issues, making up un-true stories and much more). Hazoor Paak (pbuh) has said a man may utter a word, and without knowing, have fallen deep down in jahanum because of it. May Allah help all people rectify their matters as soon as possible, and grant everyone a sincere tawbah for all past mistakes. Aameen.

Please Remove All Tragical Effects Of This Post

May Allah guide us all, to not misuse humour, but instead learn halal techniques that can help us swallow an important message, without dying because of it. Aameen.
