you-need-allahIt is somewhat tragical funny that sometimes people laugh of adults who behave childish. A dai once said: if you ask 10 women with the same clothing to sit the same place, and ask a 2-year-old who his/her mother is, the child will find her. We know how much a child loves his mother. His/her mother is everything for the child. Our Maker, our Creator, our Lord, our God Allah, loves us more than 70 mothers. I must say, people invite us to believe in who they think is our god. Aren’t we behaving like child, when in all these different religions, gods people believe in, we are not able to find our true God. How can we say that we are intellectuals, masters/bachelors degree, when we don’t know our true purpose, or who made us come to this world. See the signs. Believe in the signs. Comprehend, where is all this from? A person whom haven’t yet realized who his/her true Creator is, is worse than a little child, who understands his life. I must say, how tragically childish, indeed.

My Knowledge Of Advance Mathematics

I`ve had lectures in university. I have a master degree from their in fla fla subject etc. I can easily within minutes solve this difficult equation on this and that advanced level etc. The fla fla we are using as an example here, have probably spent over 20-25 years of his/her life to gain this knowledge. To spend rest of his/her life using this knowledge for further development in his/her success. For a worldly gain, we sacrifice this much time throughout our life. A gain that might, if Allah wills, last a 100 years, if we live that long. But yet when there comes to the gain of the afterlife, where we will live forever, for eternity. Allah knows how long one day will be, or one month. Maybe the time will be different from how time is in the world. Allah has said that the day of judgement will be like 50 years for a disbeliever and like the time between asr and maghrib for a believer. From this we can assume that time will be counted differently in our hereafter, based on our belief in this world. Are we really an intelligent person, when we can`t calculate how to work for a good eternity. FIrst, understand it, and most of all, also live to gain it. How can we not see, how important it is to have this worry, for how our souls life will be, after our death. Our body might live for a 100 years, but our souls life is for eternity. Shouldn`t it be a priority in our life to find out how we can make our eternal abode, a blessed place?

A 8 month old child. When his/her diaper gets filled with poop and urine. At once he/she starts to cry. The child’s mother will hear the voice and come to the child. Since the child is unable to communicate what is wrong, she will check 5 matters:
1. Is he/she hungry?
2. Must his /her diaper get changed?
3. Is he/she hurting somewhere?
4. Is he /she cold / warm somewhere?
5. Is he/she wet somewhere

The Child Is More Intelligent Than The Parent

After finding out that the diaper needed to be changed. The mother will do that. Just as she has finished changing the diaper, she will see the mood change of the child. The child will start, laughing, smiling or just stop crying. If none of the other points also are disturbing the child. An 8 month old child, feels uneasy, when he/she is un-clean. It dislikes it, and shows negative emotions. I dare say, this child under 1 year is more intelligent than most people nowadays. I mean like, when we talk about average people. It is very few who cleans their private parts thoroughly after going to the toilet. Most people only use toilet paper. Many goes around for years, with the bacteria of urine and stools on their private parts. I don`t know, how they can think that when they have taken a shower, they smell good, so they are clean. They think that smelling good is equal to clean. When in fact, they are not clean, and have been unclean for years. The little child of 8 months, is feeling un-easy when his diaper is dirty. The child has understood cleanliness, better than his parents.

An adults Understanding

An adult doesn`t understand that him/her being un-clean after being to the toilet, will have an impact on him/her feelings/mood/conduct etc as long as he/she doesn`t do anything about it. Many non-muslims could have been living like this for years. In Islam, keeping yourself clean is half of your faith. A practising muslim, will make wudu at least 5 times a day. Or maybe keep it all day. Most muslims are aware over that what you eat and your cleanliness, has an impact over how you will behave. In other words, if we eat something, un-clean/haram like some meat from pig, and when they on top of this doesn`t clean themselves. This will have a bad effect on their heart, spirituality and their conduct and character. How can we claim that we are intelligent because of our master / bachelor degrees, when we don`t understand the importance of clean food and clean body. In addition, muslims doesn`t limit their cleanliness to the body, we also talk about the cleanliness of the heart, and the soul. The cleanliness of the heart, is to keep our heart free from diseases like, envy, jealousy, bad-ghomani, chugli, arrogance, not being able to stop oneself from committing sins, and not stopping others from committing sins. When we keep our heart at a good state, working to get rid of the diseases, we also are able to develop/improve our spirituality and the quality of our ibaadah and deeds in our life. it is mustahab for a person to do ghusl at least one time a week, fridays. When we do ghusl, a spiritual bath, we clean our soul. It is obligatory for a muslim to keep his heart, body and soul clean. Someone who strives for this and succeeds will be a good muslim, in sha Allah. It is truly very sad to see people un-aware of the real issues about cleanliness. Wrong prorities in life and busy schedule has made them neglect it. Awareness is half done. If those who practice these sunnah`s try to talk about it, in a gentle manner, maybe we are able to help people understand, why and how it can help them and improve the quality and reward of their deeds. May Allah make it easy for us. Aameen.

I Cry In My Heart

When some people make jokes about some adults being childish. It hurts. How wrong they are. If we only could help non-muslims and non-practising muslims understand, that behaving childish in some situation is not the definition of immature. A person whom can`t find his/her way to his Creator, is a child. In other words, those who doesn`t know their Creator, or live by his commandments are children. And truly matureness comes with believing and practising the true religion. Because than you will make good decisions for your life and hereafter. A definition of an adult can be one who knows how to live a good life, make good choices in life, on his/her own. Having knowledge of something is almost half of doing it. We can try to not only focus on knowledge of the brain, but focus on knowledge of the heart. A heart will not accept good information unless it is a good and sound heart. That is why we do dhikr. To purify the heart. It`s not a once in a year quest. To achieve a pure heart, we need to do dhikr every day. There is no elevator to success. We have to take the stairs, one step at a time. In dhikr mehfil we learn that educating the head without educating the heart is not education at all. We can only find our true purpose, when we try to correct our heart. It is not enough to have knowledge. Only by practising = wisdom, of the knowledge we have, can we say with deeds, not only words, that yes, we truly do believe in the good effects of cleanliness. May Allah make it easy for us to understand. Aameen.

positive parents, children, upbringingGood and bad health is in the hands of our Creator. There is also something we have in our hands to change the situation. Many people know the right of the parents and talk and praise those who treat them well. Though we need to talk more about how parents should treat their children also. Their childhood shape them for their adulthood. If we want them to be good contributors as adults, we nee to know how to mould them into what we want them to become. I have a few thoughts about this, I would like to share.

Children Above Their Age

Children need to learn the parents rights. The parents also should be aware of the children’s rights. If a childs` opinion is validated, and their parents make them feel like they can contribute to the conversation, even with their little intellect at the moment. They would be able to, see with amazement, that many times children say words that are above their age, and good for the conversation. It is the parents that build the childs` confidence in the beginning. Just like any spouse want un-divided attention, children also need a good dose of positive attention, love, care and nurture from their parents. If the parents are able to show this in a good way, they help build healthy people who are an asset for the community and the people they interact with.

parents recognize childrens abilites and efforts,Don`t Downplay Their Abilities

It is so easy to for a parent to say to a child, don`t be disrespectful. Though the parents must also realize that if you treat he/she with respect, and teach them how to behave in a good way, with encouragement, they will. If the only way to get any attention is when children does something wrong, of course, the child that need validation, would do anything for it. To bring out good qualities in our children, we must comment positively and take out time to listen to them and reason with them, to help them think good. Not only teaching them what to think, but how to think right. Don`t downplay their abilities. That is where they learn to downplay their own abilities, in their relations as adults. At the time a child is born, it is like a white sheet. Whatever it becomes and how it behaves depends on the values that are cultivated in him/her. The parents need to realize their responsibilities before it is too late. Encourage your children and see them blossom. Build confidence and self-esteem while keeping them humble and filled with humility and gratefulness. Knowing that good would not happen to them without the will and help of Allah and hard work. When they don`t win the game, appreciate their efforts, because they worked hard. We need to raise children that will be good for the community, muslims and non muslims, but most importantly, good for Islam. May Allah help all elders and children value and respect each other and fulfil their rights and obligations towards each other in a sunnah way and help them become resourceful for the community and to each other.

photo, develop, negatives, quote, lifeThe good and bad qualities that are in the generation of parents doesn`t automatically pass on to the next generation. It depends on the way we nurture good behaviour in our children, that matters. Sometimes we fail sometimes we succeed, Allah`s help is necessary.

Age is no obstacle

Just because we didn`t get a fully islamic upbringing, doesn`t mean we can`t do that for our next generation. It depends on what values we have in us right now. We might have come to Islam as adults, but people who are far more elder than us has completed a lot more tasks for Islam. They didn`t let that stop them. We want the best for our generations of children. Just because we didn`t pray that much when we were younger, if we have come back to Islam, we would want the best for the next generation and wan`t to instill in them these qualities as early as possible.

Just because my father smoked cigarettes

Just because your father smoked cigarettes doesn`t automatically mean that you will also fall into the same. If your father did smoke and his health is deteriorating because of it, he wouldn`t want the same to happen to his son. So when he gives you guidance to prevent you from doing it, it is because he knows what it does to you. Often people who have had a un-islamic lifestyle and Allah guides them to Islam, are the best people to give naseeha, because they know how it is to grow up in the “hood”. We can`t throw back comments to them that you yourself didn`t manage to prevent yourself from it, so why should we. You should rather listen to the wisdom they have gained from quitting it. They know the inside story, you might not. Listen to them with an open heart.

If every generations had to start from scratch

People increase in experience by making mistakes. When we have learned from the mistakes that gave us some experience we would like to instill those values in our children from an early age so that they don`t fall into the same traps as we did. If every generation had to invent cars every time they need a vehicle, just because they want to do everything on their own, we might not have had any planes now. If every generation use the experience the generations before has gathered, we will develop that into something better as time passes. Every generation doesn`t have to start from scratch. We can try to build our life on others experience so that we can prosper and succeed as time passes. May Allah help us. Ameen

strong people 2Life isn`t fair to everyone. It doesn`t stand still either. We won`t always be happy but neither always sad. No one has everything either. Some people have lost a friend, other a family member. Some has lost their job other has become ill. No matter how hard we try, we are not in control of what happens to us, but we can make sure that we make the best out of the situation that we are facing.

Patience is helping others with what you yourself is deprived of

Often the first thing we start with when something negative happens is the complaining. I don`t have xyz and so the list goes on. Alhamdolillah, living abroad, most of us have a lot that we take for granted. The most important of those things are our relations. Some people as being the eldest, might some times say, I wish I had an elder brother. Someone whom has lost a parent, might say, I wish my parents were with me today. Other that have a child that is ill, would wish for healthy children, and so the list goes on. Maybe if Allah decided to take something away or give us a difficulty is to see how we cope with it. If the one whom has no elder siblings, would try to be that elder brother/sister for his younger siblings, that him/her wanted, he/she would get an opportunity to give something so  precious as exactly what he/she wanted, even if he/she is deprived of it himself/herself. A glow of patience. Or for instance, for those whom have lost a parent, there are elders whom doesn`t get visits from their children, why not give them some time, whenever you can? If you are not married yet, but looking for a spouse, why not give charity to a sister back home whom doesn`t have enough money to get married? If you just got married, but having difficulties to conceive, there are a lot of children whom need support, maybe someone in the family, would like to have a day off from all the work of the kids, to get out one evening. The possibilities are there, it is up to us to look for opportunities where we can help others and at the same time comfort ourself as well.

The biggest issue in today`s society

This is how we can make a difference. Even if we are deprived of something, we can make sure that we help people in the same situation, because we know how tough it is. And to lessen the burden of those whom need a hand. The biggest issue of today in our society is loneliness, elders as well as children, even if the world has everything to offer, the most important things, nurture relations, are what we lack the most. Maybe this is where we need to start? Sometimes Allah puts difficulties in our life because He knows we can overcome them, and that it will make us stronger and wiser.

status of women in islam 2Every boy is taught by his parents and especially the males in his life, how to treat women. If those role-models have poor character, than that would rub on of the boys/kids. This is mostly the parents fault as they are not teaching the right values to their children. It would not be far from the truth that if a kid grows up in a family, where the head of the family, is very strict, and his sisters and the mother has to do all the work home and is not treated fairly. That is what they will become when they become adults. They will think, that only their sisters, spouse, mother, daughter etc has to do all the work. That they can treat them the way they want. They will have zero respect for them and oppress them. It won`t stop them from mistreating girls at school, work, in the bus, and wherever they see them they will look down on them like they are less worth than them. Would they have liked if someone treated someone they loved like that? If they behave like that they don`t even know what love is, or what true love is.

Imagine, a kid that has grown up with the values of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), because his father and the men in his life practiced those values. How do you think that person would treat his mother, spouse, sister or daughter. Wouldn`t he just cherish them beyond means and be the best to them. Not only to respect them and help them around the house, but also protect them and have a strong feeling of gheerah towards them.

If the kids aren`t taught the right values, that would have an impact on them throughout their lives. Of course, it`s not always the parents fault either. Sometimes the parents has done a great job in raising their kids, but the influential environment they are living in, their friends and surroundings, have bad influence on them. Just to play cool and be liked by their friends, they end up mistreating the same gender of the one that gave birth to them and took care of them when they couldn`t do anything by themselves.

In respect of how our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) taught men to treat the women in their lives, there are several lessons to learn. For instance, the prayer of your mother (father) is near to Allah and answered. If you are good to them, they will pray for your good. If you are mean to them, no matter how much they try to control of themselves, Allah can listen even their supplications in their hearts. So if you shouldn`t mistreat your mother, than you are also in respect of the gender never mistreat any other girl/woman also. Remember that the prayer of the oppressed is near to Allah. If you oppress someone their prayer could ruin your life or worst of all, your akhirah (Hereafter).

There is an hadith where the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) says that if parents/brothers have three of four daughters/sisters and they are good to them, and teach them Islam and they practice it, Jannah will be theirs. A girl/woman is a rahma to the family. They have soft hearts and are more gentle in mind and have more EQ (emotional intelligence) than men. Think if men had the responsibility of raising the children. It is the nurturing of a woman who raise children that becomes good people and a treasure to the society they live in. The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) visits the house, where there is born a girl. That is truly a blessing.

Another thing is that men may have protective gheerah towards their own woman, but soon as they see another girl/woman, They would say bad things about her and treat her like trash. Isn`t she someone`s sister, spouse, mother daughter? Would you want some people to do the same to the women in your life? I reckon your answer is no. Therefore always know that you should love for your brother what you love for yourself. Just like you have a right to live happy, married and blessed, so does your brother. If you want to have all the great things that life has to offer. So does your brother 🙂 If you put obstacles in your brothers way, than you should be scared of the punishment for that from Allah. No one deserves oppression. Not even Pharaoh, to give an extreme example. Allah is just, and will give patience and victory to the oppressed.

If you are feeling sad because your brother has been given a blessing, then be patient and happy for him. He may have struggled his buts of for it for years. Instead of putting obstacles in his way, be happy for him and pray that Allah grants him more. A part of that supplication is for yourself, as an angel by your side will say: ” and may you have something similar”. Be patient. When your time will come, Allah will grant you abundance. Allah is great, and has so many blessings to offer. As a saying says, there are plenty of fish in the sea. Just because there is one fish less, doesn`t mean we are out of fish 😉 Be happy for each other instead of putting each other down. Remember, if you support your brother in his times of need, Allah will support you, in your times of need. Because as you reap you shall get. 🙂

children to this worldMost of us love children and want children in our lives. When I look at people I see a lot of them plan when to have a baby though for some it just happens. My opinion is that the children should only come to the world if there are two people whom would love the baby and give it the nurturing, love and care that it deserves. Therefore it is very important that the parents have are agreed about if and when they want babies. If not they disagree what could happen is that the child doesn`t get enough care and nurture to become a good human being. After all it is the next generations that are going to take control of the world when we are gone. If we don`t give them enough love and care from both parents than what kind of person would they become and what kind of world would they make?

It is important that the mother and father agrees about how many children they want in their lives. I guess that if they don`t one of them won`t put that much work into it, leaving the other with all the chores and drained. After all it is a great responsibility putting an individual into this world, and grown ups need to be ready for that responsibility. Not only be ready but agreed about how many. Although the father has his opinion, it is the mother that has the most hard job because of the delivery and 9 months. It is very important that she has a veto, in the decision-making. A father can`t take that good care of a child like the woman, because it is in her nature to be more caring and more emotional than the father.

I guess we all have an opinion about taking abortion and stuff and whether if it`s allowed in Islam. I know that if you take the life of the baby before the soul is put into the baby it is ok. Though I guess there are different opinions about this.

All i want to say is that I hate to see children that don`t get enough love from one or both of their parents. I think that those whom want a lot of children should think and re-think whether they have enough love to give them. A person that grows up without enough love would be in-complete and have a lot of issues throughout his/her life. I can`t bear to see people go through something like that. Although children are a blessing one should not bring an un-wanted child to this world. Marriage is for responsible people and they should be capable of taking that responsibility when they get married.

Another thing is that two individuals that are different gender can`t always think alike and have the same thoughts about everything. So they need to be open for discussion and agreeing even though they don`t always agree. Because they are two different people they need to be able to talk things over in a discussion without start the talk by quarreling. In a marriage mutual respect and understanding is a must even though one cannot always agree about everything.

The thought of a child not having good parents is very scary, and for the child that can`t take care of himself/herself it is important that the parents are agreed about the situations that can arise if one of the parents don`t put in the efforts that it takes being a parent. In worst cases, the community’s takes custody of the child where the parents don`t take good care of the children. That is another scary and sad picture and it is increasing in number. A lot of parents don`t know enough about bringing up a child here in the west. And the consequences of that could be severe for the child and the community, if they don`t manage to inject the right values into the child that they have put into this world.

My Prayer..

“O Allah, place light in my heart, and on my tongue light, and in my ears light and in my sight light, and above me light, and below me light, and to my right light, and to my left light, and before me light and behind me light. Place in my soul light. Magnify for me light, and amplify for me light. Make for me light and make me a light. O Allah, grant me light, and place light in my nerves, and in my body light and in my blood light and in my hair light and in my skin light.” Ameen
