you-need-allahA summary of a lengthy story that was narrated from Jaabir ibn ‘Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said:

A young man of the Ansaar who was called Tha‘labah ibn ‘Abd ar-Rahmaan became Muslim, and he used to serve the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). He sent him on an errand, and he passed by the door of a man among the Ansaar, where he saw an Ansaari woman doing ghusl. He looked repeatedly at her, after which he became afraid that Revelation would come down to the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), so he went out, fleeing, and came to a mountainous area between Makkah and Madinah, where he hid. The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) missed him for forty days, and these were the days when they said his Lord had forsaken him and was displeased with him, then Jibreel (peace be upon him) came down to the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and said: O Muhammad, your Lord conveys greetings of peace (salaam) to you, and says: The man from your ummah who has fled is in these mountains, seeking refuge with Me from My Fire. The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “O ‘Umar! O Salmaan! Go and bring Tha‘labah ibn ‘Abd ar-Rahmaan to me.” They set out through the streets of Madinah and were met by one of the shepherds of Madinah whose name was Dhufaafah. ‘Umar said to him: O Dhufaafah, do you know anything about a young man in these mountains? Dhufaafah said to him: Perhaps you are looking for the one who is fleeing from Hell? ‘Umar said to him: How do you know that he is fleeing from Hell? He said: Because in the middle of the night he came out to us from these mountains with his hand on his head, saying: Would that You took my soul as You took other souls and my body as You took other bodies, and not expose me on the Day of Judgement! ‘Umar said: He is the one we are looking for. So Dhufaafah set out with them, and in the middle of the night he came out to them from those mountains, with his hand on his head, saying: Would that You took my soul as You took other souls and my body as You took other bodies, and not expose me on the Day of Judgement! ‘Umar went to him and embraced him and (Tha‘labah) said: I want to be safe from the Fire. ‘Umar said to him: I am ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab. He said: O ‘Umar, does the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) know of my sin? He said: All I know is that he remembered you yesterday, and the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) wept. Tha‘labah said: O ‘Umar, do not let me enter upon him except when he is praying, and Bilaal is saying Qad qaamat as-salaah (Prayer is about to begin – i.e., the iqaamah or call immediately preceding the prayer). ‘Umar said: I shall do that. Then they brought him to Madinah and arrived when the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was praying Fajr. ‘Umar and Salmaan hastened to join the row (of worshippers), and no sooner did Tha‘labah hear the recitation of the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), but he fell unconscious. When the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said the salaam (at the end of the prayer), he said: “O ‘Umar, O Salmaan, what happened to Tha‘labah ibn ‘Abd ar-Rahmaan?” They said: He is over there, O Messenger of Allah. The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stood up and said: “O Tha‘labah!” He said: Here I am, O Messenger of Allah. He looked at him and said: “What kept you away from me?” He said: My sin, O Messenger of Allah. He said: “Shall I not tell you about a verse that will expiate sins and errors?” He said: Yes, O Messenger of Allah. He said: “Say: Allaahumma aatina fi’d-dunya hasanah wa fi’l-aakhirati hasanah wa qinna ‘adhaab an-naar (O Allah! Give us in this world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and save us from the torment of the Fire) (cf. al-Baqarah 2:201).” He said: My sin is too great, O Messenger of Allah. The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Rather the word of Allah is greater.” Then the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) instructed him to go home. He fell sick for eight days, then Salmaan came to the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah, do you want to visit Tha‘labah, because he is sick? The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Let us go to him.” When he entered upon him, the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) took hold of his head and placed it in his lap, but he pulled his head away from the lap of the Messenger of Allah. The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said to him: “Why did you pull your head away from my lap?” He said: Because it is full of sins. He said: “What do you feel?” He said: I feel something like the crawling of ants between my skin and my bones. He said: “What do you long for?” He said: The forgiveness of my Lord. Then Jibreel (peace be upon him) came down to the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and said: Verily your Lord conveys greetings of salaam to you and says: If this slave of Mine were to meet Me with an earthful of sins, I would meet him with a similar measure of forgiveness. The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Should I not tell him about that?” He said: Yes indeed. So the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) told him about that, and he gave a shout then died. The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) gave instructions that he should be washed and shrouded, and he offered the funeral prayer for him. Then the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) began walking on tiptoe and they said: O Messenger of Allah, why do we see you walking on tiptoe? He said: By the One Who sent me with the truth as a Prophet, I could not put my feet on the ground because of the many wings of the angels who came down to accompany his funeral procession.

In high school, college or universities. Most studies of a subject lasts a year, and is divided in two semesters. In every semester you have test after completed some curriculum. Sometimes you are graded in the test. Other times you have certain assignments. All the tests and assignments all together, decide your grade for that semester. And after completed both semester for a year, the grades for the two semesters, decide your grade for the entire year you had that subject. In other words. We are taught certain subjects, and we are tested in them and graded in the end.

If we use this example and try to compare it with being a muslim. In your start of you being a muslim child, we learn the assignments, like 5 daily prayers, treatment of kin and friends, manners, conduct, character etc. We are prepared before our responsability will be put on our shoulders. After puberty, we are responsible for reading the 5 salah, and try to live according to all guidelines we were taught in our earlier years. And increase our knowledge and practice of our deen. After adulthood, we will be tested, by Allah in being given blessings, and blessings taken away, to see if we follow Him (Allah). As we make our choices, we are graded in some tests or just passed in others. After our death, we are questioned and our grades are rughly scanned. If the deed of salah, is graded good, our questioning will be easier. If we pass the tests of the grave, the tests of the day of Judgement will be easier. If we fail in the tests of the grave, the test of the day of judgement will be worse. Our final grade, will be given on judgement day, for everything we have done, all our life. That day our deeds will be thorougly scanned and weighed. And Allah will give full justice. If we pass that day, we will be given eternal paradise, with only happiness, joy, laughter and good things. And if we fail that day, we will be tested in hellfire and given paradise, some time later if we have some eman (faith) in our hearts.

In other words. All these actions we do everyday, that Islam has made obligatory on every of believers, are graded. And what happens to us for eternity is a sum of how obediently we have fulfilled our obligations towards our self and those we are responsible for. In other words, our life, our islam, is our test. And we need to pass it. If we want to live happy and joyful for eternity. May Allah make it easy for us to pass, all of these tests. Aameen.

True happiness is being obedient and submissive to Allah, white flowerThe people we interact with influence us according to their values. Even if they aren`t our closest friends, their values can rub off on us. Some people say we become like the 5 people we spend the most time with. Be it at home, work, university etc. We can`t choose the people who are in our family, but we can choose whom we will befriend. Even if we have to work or study with people who are very different from us, we don`t have to let their differences affect our values. To be able to do that we have to have control over ourself with understanding and believing in our goals and be determined that we are going to make it, no matter how difficult the road might seem. Guidance comes from Allah. He is the only One whom guides us. We should always supplicate to him to ask for the straight path of guidance with a heart that accept guidance as well. Without His Help we are indeed lost. As long as we rely only on Him we can`t be lost. When we start to rely on ourself and our abilities, He will send us a difficulty to teach us who is in charge. If we have any ability to do anything it is merely because of His Love. He can take away whatever He has blessed us with. So it remains to practice patience and gratefulness side by side, and turn to Him always, every day, as often as possible.

It Is Better To Die Than To Be Disobedient To Allah

Who hasn`t had some friends with different set of values that has influenced them without thinking of the consequences of it being harmful for ourself. When we are practising muslims, doing the right thing might be hard, but it will be the only way. Your choice will be between: 1. Doing the right and 2. Doing the right thing. Even and despite the road being packed with difficulties. When we are so strict with ourself, we won`t allow ourself to fall into sin, and if and when we do, and yes it is inevitable, we would feel that dying is better than being disobedient to Allah. His true slaves turn to Him whenever they fail.

Leave The Place

To be able to control our desires and our emotions we need to be in control of our heart. When we keep on doing sins, it`s sickness is increased. It can only be healed by listening to Quran and doing good deeds, keeping wudhu, avoiding bad company, and avoiding sin. When our heart has come a bit on the way to becoming healthy, it won`t even like the places that leads to sin. If we ourself are struggling it is difficult for us to help others. When we are strong, we can face the fitna/tribulations that would be in such a place. We can`t save others before we save ourself.

Allah, Jannah, Muslim, proveA bad Friend Is Worse Than Shaytan

We need to be aware of our worth. When we know something is bad for us, we can`t be persistent in it. For example, a friend of yours ask you to jump off a mountain. Every sane person knows that you`ll die or break a lot of bones in your body, from the fall. Never mind that, he`s my best friend, how can I not do what he said, he knows me so well, and what would help me, right? The same goes for sinning. We need to stand up for Islam and be able to say “no”, and not follow a bad advice that will harm our Hereafter. Even if our so-called friends is cheering us to do it. We know that it`s not right, so we abstain. There is a saying in urdu that when one in a group of people is wrong, all the others will guide him to become good but what will the people do when most of the people in the group are wrong and only one is right. Avoid. It is like a group of young boys that just got their driving license. They are not perfect drivers but has got permission to drive. That means they need to be extra careful to not break any rules. The rules are new to them and they need to be familiar with them to know how to drive correctly.  If one of them cheers the driver to overspeed, they have only themselves to blame if they they come in an accident. Even those that doesn`t practice Islam knows that when we sin, we are going in the direction of Hell-fire, if we don`t repent and make amends. If we still wan`t do be persistent in going on that way, when we know the consequences, we are indeed stupid. That is why I believe in the saying of some elders that a bad friend is worse than shaytan, because shaytan only whispers to you, but that friend, he takes you to that place of sinning and doesn`t stop until you have sinned, so that you become like him. And then he can say, “Way to go, yeah I can see, you are a muslim”. The only goal of a bad friend is to make you just as bad as him.

In Good And Bad Always Turn To Allah

Bottom line. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. The more a person want to sin, the more Allah loves him, when he is able to abstain from it. Don`t rely on yourself or others. Rely only on Allah. People are sometimes good to you and sometimes bad, mostly according to what you benefit them with. Don`t lose your focus. Keep yourself determined to go to Paradise. And be aware that the way to Paradise is a road that is packed with difficulties. Though as long as we are persistent, we can find blessings in the difficulties. Whatever good or bad happens, always turn to Allah. Allah is in charge, He is the one Who has made the rules and regulations. He decides how matters are and how we can respond, out of His Wisdom. We don`t know as much as a grain according to Allah Who knows All that is in the Universe. How can we for one minute think that we know better than Him. It is plain impossible. When he asks us to abstain from something, even if we in our minds are not able to understand the wisdom, we have to trust in Him. He made us and know what is good for us. Only the maker of a vehicle, knows what is good and bad for it. Similarly, it is by Allah`s command that we are here in this world, so we must rely on the fact that he knows best what He wants for us. Accordingly He knows best how to handle our heart, and how to keep it away from all kinds of diseases. People wonder why some believers are in tension most of the time. How can they relax before they enter Paradise? The day they enter Paradise, with those they love, they will be content and rejoice over the fact that they made it to their goal. Sinning takes them further away from their goal, and being obedient makes them closer to their goal. May Allah preserve us, guide us and give us a heart that accept guidance, give us righteous company, and give us strong imaan and will to do what is right according to Islam and make it easy for us to follow Him. Aameen summa aameen.

scale, weigh, deeds, accountableWe are all in a race this month, the race to beat ourselves in doing better deeds each day, make the prayers that are accepted an achieve a better dunya and akhirah on the way. Most of us are. I wanted to share a few points for those whom are striving to improve their ibaadah and do as much good they can.

Only To Please Allah

Every action is given reward according to its intention. So if your deeds is not the grandest but the intention of what you are doing is grand, than you can reap great rewards. Similarly, if your deed is great, read 100 voluntary prayers in 1 hour just to beat my friends who only read 90. Your intention was not to solely do the ibaadah for Allah but to do better than others. The important point to understand is that we need to ask Allah to perfect our intentions and our sincerity, Ikhlaas. This is something we all are striving with. One cure can be to hide the good deeds we do, and keep them between us and Allah. On the day of Judgment Three people will be thrown in hell first. They are a martyr, a reciter of Quran, and a wealthy person. When they are asked what their intentions were for doing these deeds, they say to please Allah. Allah whom of course can see their intentions, says that these deeds were rather done to be called courageous for the martyr, the man of knowledge wanted the people to call him a good reciter, and the wealthy wanted to be called generous.

They Are Given Signs In Their Life

The heaviest on the scale of deed on Judgement Day is good manners. Our deeds are not going to be counted as of how many they are. But they are being weighed of sincerity, intention and if salah; the khusho. To have these great qualities we have to kill our ego and think less of ourselves and more of Allah and His Greatness. With our every action. We are nothing and Allah is everything. We need to fully understand whom we are doing it for and why. For instance, often people say, you were given that and that blessing because you deserved it. I don`t understand this as the pure truth. If you have a father that is a millionaire. Obviously when you have a lot of wealth you will live wealthy, with expensive things. If this father has a son, who lends his fathers expensive car and goes on a trip with his friends. Showing off that he can buy this car. He is ascribing the car to himself. The same way, if we are breathing right now, it is not because we have done something amazing in the eyes of Allah, that He is giving us these breaths. Allah has given us this life to test us, to see whom are His submissive slaves, that are patient when he withholds and grateful when He gives. Our vehicle, wealth, children, status, spouse, beauty is given from Allah. He wants to know if we will use it for good or bad. Can you say that Hitler deserved the breaths he was given by Allah, even though he killed so many jews? Can you say that Bush deserved his breath although he started a war against innocent people, just because of 9/11. I`m sure no religion justifies killing innocent people in their scriptures. These leaders were given the position they had because Allah was testing them. Allah gives wealth, livestock, beauty in abundance to people who doesn`t believe in Him. This is a test for them. They are given signs throughout their life to help them turn to Allah, some are put astray even more than before others are guided, even though they have failed sometimes.

We Are Forgiven Because Of Allah`s Rahma, Not Because Of Our Deeds

On judgement Day there will be two men that are going to be questioned in front of Allah. One of them has used all his life to do good deeds and is very proud of himself. As he is given Jannah, he walks were slowly towards his destination. Meanwhile another person has done wrong deeds all his life, and is sentenced to a life in Hell. This person is running towards hell with speed. So Allah stops both and asks them why they walk as they do. The one with great deeds comes in a discussion and says he deserves Jannah because of his good deeds. So Allah says, ok, lets weigh them. This is a person whom has utilized all his life doing good deeds. When his deeds are weighed they don`t even weigh as much as the blessing of the eyesight of one of his eyes. So he is thrown in Hell because he believed in himself rather than Allah`s Mercy. The other person will be asked why he was running so fast. He will answer that he is so ashamed of himself that he didn`t obey any of Allah’s commandments in Dunya so he thinks for himself that, he will at least obey this command, so he hastened for his punishment in Hell. Because of this Allah forgave him and gave him Jannah. Even our Prophet Muhammad pbuh has said, if it wasn`t for Allah’s rahma on him, even he wouldn`t be forgiven his sins. And he pbuh is the perfect of all people. Where do we stand whom disobey Allah and sometimes obey Him.

sitting with poor and fortunate people removes the ego of the heartPraise Can Make Us Forget Our Faults

When shaytan can not make us sin, he makes us waste time or puts self-thoughts in our mind. A man once came to see the Prophet. He wasn`t let in to him at once. Ayesha raa told him pbuh who it was. Prophet Muhammad said: “that is a bad person”. When he came in the Prophet pbuh was even nicer to him than the other people whom are good that he pbuh usually are nice to. So after he had left, the mother of believers, Ayesha raa asked him, why he was so well-treated when he was so bad. He pbuh answered because he could have harmed us by spreading bad stuff about us, through poetry or etc, so to prevent that from happening, he pbuh pleased him by his manners that he went happily. On the contrary there is another hadith that says that those that please other in their face, break their neck, in example make proudness grow in them and therefore destroy their deeds. If we want to praise some people because of their remarkable work, do it in a way that doesn`t make him/her feel proud, but at the same time makes them feel appreciated. When other praise us, it is important that we don`t get blind to what they say either, often it is sugar-coated. If we are sincere to ourselves and evaluate ourselves and know how we really are. Whenever some people praise us, we would actually hate them, because they don`t know us the way we know ourselves. We would rather love those who gently guide us to our faults because then we would find some points that needs improvement. Insight in our own deeds would never allow us to become proud. Knowing that good deeds come from Allah`s guidance and not necessarily because we are worthy of doing them, is also something that helps us keep us humble.

Make Dua In A Language You Understand

It is easy to understand that the more you know what you are reciting the more asr it would have on you. If we keep on reading the salah, without comprehending on the translation, we will not be able to build our khusho, concentration in salah. How can our intentions and our sincerity be on top if we don`t understand what we are saying. Making dua in your own language helps and taking baby-steps to understand what surah`s are saying will help also.

The Opposite Of Each Other

We have discussed that is not the deed itself but the intention behind it, that matters. One hadith that portrays that in a beautiful way is of a man who comes to a place with his camel and wants to pray. He is looking for something to tie his camel to. He doesn`t find it so he makes it himself, to help other that would need the same at this place. Some time after a man comes and sees this thing in the sand, where other might have tied their camel. He is afraid of it hurting some people if they don`t see it while they are passing it. So to save others for the hurt, he takes it out of the ground. Both are given a good deed for what they did, even though they did the opposite of each other. It is because of their intention for the deed was correct.

The Grandest Deed Can Be Rejected

Imagine you want to feed the poor and hungry, but you don`t have that much money. So instead of earning money, you steal from the rich to give to the poor, ala robin hood. Even though the deed is great, and has immense reward in the eyes of Allah, since it is forbidden to steal, you won`t get any reward, but rather bad deeds for it.

Few Points To Reap The Reward

  1. Intention for the deed. You are doing this only for Allah to please Him not so that other will praise you or think good of you.
  2. Avoid praising others. It can develop proudness in them.
  3. Sincerity. Our deeds are weighed not counted. It wouldn`t help to read fifty voluntary prayers if you don`t have any concentration in them. Rather read two with full concentration/khusho.
  4. The blessings in our life are from Allah, we are not given them because we deserve them, but because He will test us. The same way we are tested when He takes something away from us or afflicts us in a trial.
  5. Allah likes the repentant sinner more than those that are arrogant because they have done good deeds.
  6. Without Allah`s guidance and we having a heart that accepts guidance, we can become lost at any time.
  7. Understanding the meaning of the words in salah and supplications increases the sincerity and khusho. Being heedless of what we are reciting does the opposite.
  8. Even though the deed is seen as great, if the means of achieving it is haram, you won`t reap any reward, but rather bad deeds.

love for the sake of allah - 1People say that those whom doesn`t have friends is the most poor person that he/she can be. That is true but an even poorer person is the one whom is surrounded by friends who direct her/him to bad deeds. In my opinion it is better to be without any friend than being with the wrong friends that can misguide you.

Mostly young people are often naive and think that if some people want to get to know them, they`ll be the best buddies to them. Yet often, a lot of people make friends because they want something out of the other person. It could be info, it could be a want to hurt them, or it could be something else. We can try to be careful with whom we befriend. Especially on the internet. Even though you “know” the other person, you don`t know their intentions. Don`t be in a hurry to open up about everything that is happening in your life. A good way of telling if they are your true friends, if possible, is to test them to see how reliable they actually are. The worst thing anyone can experience is that someone you thought to be your best friend is actually your enemy. It doesn`t take too long before some people quarrel about something. If they aren`t that mature, they can easily hurt you by sharing your personal information with others to humiliate or ridicule you. Once something bad is shared on social media, everyone knows within hours. It is very hard to undo that. One test to check if someone is true to you, is how they behave when they are angry at you. If they are loyal to you then, they can be a friend to keep. An hadith from muslim says that Prophet Muhammad pbuh says we should not be to kind to our friends and to mean to our enemies, because our enemies can become our friends and our friends can become our enemies.

love for the sake of Allah - yasmeen mojahedAlthough one thing is for sure, if you are on the deen and trying to practice Islam, you are not friendless. Those that love each other for the sake of Allah are those that will be joined under the Throne of Allah on the Day of Judgement. Love for Allah is selfless. You guide and help others not to gain something, but rather for the sake of Allah. If they stop you from doing something bad, it is because they don`t want you to end up in hell. And when they guide you to something good, it is because they want you to join them in Paradise. If and when you have people who love you like this, you will never feel alone or abandoned. No matter where on earth you live, you will feel like you’re a part of a brotherhood/sisterhood that wants you to succeed, not only in dunya but though especially in the akhirah. These friends are priceless. No amount of money, gold or silver can replace them. They are pure and sincere. You can`t find a better friend. Someone whom cares about where you are going to spend your eternity and guides you to achieve it, really cares about you. The hereafter is forever. Wouldn`t you want your home in a place that is forever to be pleasant for you? If you care about you soul, you will. We all know the life on this earth. The difficulties, depressions, misery. Therefore someone whom wants you to live in eternal bliss, can`t be evil. I have yet not found any better friends that those whom guide me to do good and stops me from doing evil. May Allah join us with those we love for the sake of Allah on Judgement Day and in Firdous, and may Allah raise our ranks as much as his rahma is endless. Ameen summa ameen.

strong, brain, excersise, trening, hjernen (1)Can you imagine that sometimes when you speak with your friends, you`re giving away your good deeds to those you don`t like. If that wasn`t enough you are also receiving their bad deeds in your account. The worst deal we can ever make is to backbite others, and that is what this comes from.

What To Socialize About?

Have you ever seen people whom likes to tell stories, without any friends? I certainly have not. People like to be with others whom is good at telling stories. Doesn`t matter if they are true or not, as long as they are funny and entertaining. Have you thought of if people would stop backbiting if we didn`t lend them our ears. If no one would want to listen to stories because they would know that more than 50% of it could be all made by assumptions, and give them a deaf ear, they`d immediately stop. People need something to talk about and socialize about. I like the quote : “Great minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events, small minds discuss people” – Eleanor Roosevelt. If we think that we have great minds, why do we than degrade ourselves by discussing people? If we used more time discussing ideas, we`d might certainly find more solutions to our issues.

Our Perception Is Coloured By Our Values

What we talk about says something about who we are and is coloured by our perception of matters. Two friends are in a coffee shop drinking coffee while they see something strange happening. Because of their individual perception, they will speak and understand what they saw differently. They have invisible glasses on them that are made by their values. So even if they tell the story about this incident to two different people, chances are they won`t match. And if those two people they talked to are friends and somehow discuss what they told them, they will see how different they understood it, and how it is coloured with their point of view.

whoever gossips with you, will gossip about youPeople Like The Juicy / Funny Stories

Ancient historical happenings aren`t as interesting as the juicy and funny stories about their friends party the other day. Can you guarantee that a storyteller hasn`t told a lie? People like to listen to that which makes them feel good about themselves. What can possibly make them feel better than seeing someone they dislike, struggling in something. Prophet Muhammad pbuh has said that being happy when some people are afflicted with a calamity, can be difficult for them. Allah can save those afflicted with the calamity and make it a blessing for them and afflict those who laughed, with the same or something similar, that the other was saved from. So never be happy in others misfortunes. No muslim is allowed to make fun of or laugh of other fellow muslims or call them by offensive nicknames, Surah Hujraat. Seriously, today, do you know someone whom hasn`t laughed at another fellow muslim once, in a day. Yes we call ourselves muslims, but we are sometimes far from the manners it teaches. May Allah guide us.

Rasollallah Wants To See The Whole Ummah In Paradise

Another story which is connected to backbiting is something mostly girls/women do a lot; make allies. When couple of friends doesn`t like one person in the click, they can easily, fill their friends with hatred about them. She said, this and that about you, which could have been said but the intention for saying something and what it meant could have been 180 degrees opposite. Winning friends by fueling each other with hatred about each other, is not uncommon amongst girls/women. Jealousy kicks in once in a while and they don`t like that others succeed. Bringing others down won`t make you look better. Those who help other when they are down to achieve a similar success are the truly succesful people. Jannah is for all, right. If you don`t share your success stories with your surroundings in case they succeed more than you, your jealousy would eat up your good deeds. Imagine you tell something good to someone, and they perfect it more than you. One thought could lead to jealousy and the other to gratefulness. The gratefulness would come of the fact that every good deed that person does will be added to your account of deeds, just because you directed them to it. So all in all, being good can never be a loss. We should strive to become better than what we are today, recognizing our own potential. Our goal is not to be better than someone else at the mosque or any other event. Sallallaho wasallam wants to see all of his Ummah in Paradise. So if someone err, you can be a gentle reminder or at least, don`t be the reason others fail.

gossip1You Will Gain Only Good From It

A sunnah that can be revived is making excuses for your brother when you don`t know the whole story. If you hear something from someone regarding any matter, don`t think of it as the ultimate truth. One can draw a parallel to the mother of the believers, Ayesha raa. She was seen with another person and was left behind because of the necklace that she had lost on the way. When people saw here, they starting making all these tales about her. They only spoke about what they saw, but didn`t know the reasons behind. Allah proved her innocence in the Quran. Things aren`t always as they seem. Sometimes our own perception colours our glasses, but isn`t the entirely truth. That is why it is so important to have goodwill for our brothers and sisters in Islam. Whenever someone backbites anyone, make excuses, because we don`t know whether the backbiter is true or not or if he has made a tale out of assumptions. Think good of others. Give the backbiters a deaf ear. Next time they have something to tell, they won`t come to you. The thing is, it won`t be your loss. You will gain only good from it. Only when people will stop listening to backbiting, the vicious circle of blabbering mouths, would also stop. The punishment for the sin of the mouth is severe. A person can fall very deep into hell just because of some word he/she utters, or be given a higher status in Jannah because of something good he/she says. “The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but those who watch them without doing anything”.

My Prayer..

“O Allah, place light in my heart, and on my tongue light, and in my ears light and in my sight light, and above me light, and below me light, and to my right light, and to my left light, and before me light and behind me light. Place in my soul light. Magnify for me light, and amplify for me light. Make for me light and make me a light. O Allah, grant me light, and place light in my nerves, and in my body light and in my blood light and in my hair light and in my skin light.” Ameen

Naat/hamd-Quote of the moment :)

Saari duniya ke liye dard
se mahmor hain jo..
Ik faqat Rehmat-e-aalam

Ye sab tumhara

bani hoyi hain..

Ehsas dein toofik dein..
Phir jazbaen Siddiq dein..

Kya ye zarra likhein
Shaan Unki, jin pe
bejhein Salaam
khud Khudai..

Quote of the moment :)

Though we might sometimes
have to struggle through thick
or thin,We will receive each
other’s support to be there to
win..And we will blossom like
this through eternity..
