Allah has made the world and everything in it. Humans are the only creature who have been given intellect. In every species, there is a she and a he and from them both, comes a child. Only the she over every species can bear a child and there has to be a male and female of the species to bring a child to the world. Allah decided that for the animals, to make it a sign for us humans. Since humans have to find their way back to Allah themselves, they have to understand this wisdom to stay on the right path and protect themselves from one-gender-relationships. People often find excuses that some people are born gay. I don`t think that is correct. Every human is born as muslim, a natural inclination towards accepting Islam. And then his parents and friends make him a jew, christian or a muslim. It means that the people we interact with from our childhood, their beliefs, their conduct, their morals has an effect on our own belief, conduct and morals. If the environment we are brought up in has such a great impact on our belief, why wouldn`t it also have an impact on our sexual orientation.

Gap Between “Feeling” And True State

A person who eats much despite being full in the stomach, because of some emotional disturbance, still “feels” hungry, so eat more than what he / she has the capacity of. He / she “feels” hungry, but is full. It is an emotional need that “feels” like a hunger, it is not because the body needs food. Another human who has anorexia, he / she eats less than what his body need of nutrition. He / she “feels” that eating too much will harm him / her. He / she doesn`t “feel” like eating, even though the body, is weaker because of eating less than what is needed. Often times when we have a fever, we “feel” cold and feel chilly. But when we check our temperature we find out that we are warmer than what is normal of a human being. But we are “feeling” cold. These examples explain that humans are “feeling” something else than how their body actually is. Can we then rely on their “feelings” or should we rely on the actual state of their body?

How Allah Protect Us

What we read, hear, talk about, learn, who we interact with, in what way we interact with others, all of these matters has a great impact on our personality. If we don`t protect ourself from impure information, our thoughts will become impure, which again will have an effect on our behaviour. Allah gave us rules on how to interact with the opposite gender and also the same gender. Allah gave us boundaries to protect the purity of our soul and body. When Allah warned the People of the time of Prophet Lut alahisalam, He warned them because he wanted to keep them pure.

In The World Of The Unseen

We also need to understand the world of the unseen, ghayb in this. Muslims believe in the creation of Jinns, who whispers in the breasts of people, Surah falaq ayat 5. When we remember Allah, and keep our hearts pure we are protected from such whispers. The creation of jinn, some are muslims and some are not. Those who are not, can harm the humans by whispering in their breasts. That means that we can`t be sure that the thought in our mind is actually from ourself or a whisper from shaytan or jinns. Only way to protect ourself from bad thoughts is keeping the heart pure, wudhu, remembrance of Allah, salah, morning and evening adhkar, removing the hair in the underarms and private parts, 6 kalimah of Islam. And since the eman increases and decreases, the bad thoughts will come and go. When we use the muslim ways of keeping ourself pure, we will be rewarded by Allah for our struggle. Bad thoughts come, because these shayatin and jinns wants to take us off the right path. When we try to get on the guided path, sometimes the bad thoughts increases. That is because the shaytan is trying to make us turn away so we won`t get close to Allah and granted his Qurb and forgiveness. Shaytan doesn`t go to someone who doesn`t practice eman, a heart that doesn`t remember Allah, is poor and of no value for shaytan. Shaytan only distracts those who turn to Allah, and struggle with highs and lows of eman. That is why we need to ask Allah to guide us, and keep us pure. So we can fight every battle against shaytan and the nafs, the self. There is no pleasure of this world that is better than the souls eternal bliss in paradise. Ya Allah, grant all ummah paradise Al-Firdaws. Aamen

Different Reasons For Attraction

Attraction is not equal to love. Some are attracted to others because of their intellect. Some are attracted because of others empathy and care. Some are attracted because of others beauty. Some are attracted because of conduct, morals and manners. An attraction means you admire a quality in another human. It doesn`t have to be anything sexual. You may be attracted because of the quality despite the gender of that human. Humans have a soul and a body. Both needs nourishment. The body needs food, drink and sexual activity. The soul need noorani nourishment, gained from Allah. That is achieved from practising spirituality, through Islam. Often humans make sure to nourish the body and forget the soul, while the soul is starving to connect with Allah. When our soul lives according to the morals and manners of Islam, and we nourish it by our obedience and practising of Islam, we are able to avoid the spiritual death of our soul. Obedience of Allah is equal to a good spiritual health. Muslim believes that body will die, soul will pass on to the hereafter. The soul will be rewarded or punished because of how the body lived in the world. We believe that the hereafter is for eternity. Why put your eternity for risk, by not living according to the morals of Allah in the world. Allah made the soul and the body. Only the Creator of the human knows what is good for the human. The creation can`t always grasp the wisdom behind everything. Allah is All-Wise. Even when we don`t fully understand everything, we put our trust in the fact that Allah knows best for us. And we don`t put a question to it. Allah sees everything in the universe, knows everything, even before the universe, the stars, the planets, the solar systems, and all the creatures in it. How can our mind be able to fully comprehend that? We have spent years to understand what happens beyond the earth on other planets. And still we know very little. And think that there are probably many other planets and systems beyond what we can see and know. Not to talk about all the creatures we can`t see, like angels and jinns. Allah sees the whole picture while we humans only see a pixel of the whole picture. How can we comment wisely on a picture we only have seen one pixel of. No human will be able to comment what the picture is about if he only knows that little. Impossible. Just like a mother will protect her child from any danger, because she loves her child. Children doesn`t understand the dangers of life in that fragile age. The mother protects the child, til the child becomes an adult and is able to take care of himself / herself. The Creator, Allah, wants to guide the creation because He Allah is Al-Wadud, He loves us, and wants what is best for us, paradise, and want us to keep ourselves pure, so our journey back to Him, will be easier and grant us reward and acceptance. Ya Allah, grant for us to accept the truth in what is written here and forgive us for our mistakes. Aamen.

There are many big issues in our communities. We have some problems that are in the way of these issues being solved. The issue is that imams doesn`t always address the problems we are facing in these communities. If we want a change, we have to be bold and address the problem to the leaders of the mosques, who again address it to the muslim in their gatherings and friday prayers. There can be many reasons for this. I will try to highlight those I can see.

Troubles Of The Community

For years I`ve thought that the issue about the masajid is that they don`t know about the issues, because the imams are brought here from back home. But that is not the only reason. The imams can`t always decide what issue to bring up. And they need to be backed by the rest of the staff in the mosque. If there arises any kind of tension between the imam and the staff, the mosque can easily remove the imam from his position. The second reason is that, many times the imams that come from back home, doesn`t know enough about the troubles in the communities in the west, and how to approach the people about it. When they so fail to talk about many important matters, the communities suffers, because people become worse and worse.

If Treatment Is Delayed

If we look abroad, to the United states, many of their imams are either born there or brought up there and later in life, sought education and come back to the US. These people know the culture, how to say something. And what need to be said. And to whom. They can easily talk to the media, and clear any misconceptions in the society about Islam. They have become role-models / opinion leaders for muslims in their community. Even non-muslims listen to what they have to say. We can use the example of the person whom takes a patient from one place in the hospital to another place in the hospital. If he doesn`t know how to get to the other rom within the given time, the patient might not get proper treatment within the time he/she needs it. And the health of the patient could get worse, or he /she could die. “Portøren” know the roads within the hospital inside out. And the health of the patient, depends on it.

How To Address The Community?

The imam is the spiritual advisor, Who has both the right education and the right practice. How tough it must be for someone with such a position who sees something wrong and can`t address it, because of the pressure from the community. It`s always been like this. When someone says something bad about others, it`s like “way to go, great”. If someone says something bad about ourself, we`re like “I`m never going back there again”. That`s why knowing the subject to talk about is not enough, how to address it to the people, so that they accept it and want to make the change, how they willingly can internalize the good conduct in their life. The imams would need to know how to break down the info to the people in the way, that they will not entirely reject it, but slowly feel motivated to change themselves.

Don`t Turn A Blind Eye To The Issues

Think about the consequences for the society we are living in. It`s like a leader for all doctors of the city, whom can`t adress the plague everyone is affected of, because he /she is afraid, the mob will kill him / her, or make it difficult to live in the same town. This doctor duty is to protect the whole community and wants them to keep themselves clean to not only prevent the plague from spreading but also to cure those already infected. An imam sort of has the same responsibility, on the more spiritual ground. He need to help the spiritual sick muslims from their sicknesses. To tell them their sick to their faces, might prevent them from coming in the mosque. He needs to break it down in a way he can reach out to their hearts, and help them change. The imam has to be diplomatic and know the culture inside out, about how to say something. The language does also play a role in this. Eventually our knowledge of our mother tongue is decreasing. A few more, generations and the children might not know how to talk it anymore. These issues are crucial for the communities well-being. If we will turn a blind eye to them, the spiritual sicknesses is already harming the people. We need to prevent that. We need to protect the children also and the following generations. The spiritual sickness has become normalized, that we don`t know that we are sick. Don`t kill the people sending the right messages. Instead try to find out, from the right sources, if there is any truth to what they are speaking about. Ya Allah, grant every ummati to win the struggle of supporting good matters and forbidding evil matters. Aamen. Ya Allah, help us solve the problems addressed here, as soon as possible, to help the community from further sufferings. Aamen.

People who are trying to follow the basics sunnah of Islam, are experiencing so much trouble within the ummah, because we have deviated from the right path. It is difficult to live a life as a practising muslim, when most muslim practice Islam progressively. Ya Allah, don’t let us deviate from the right path, after You have guided us, grant us from yourself mercy, indeed You are the most Merciful, and You are the bestower. Aameen

dawa is a an art, dealing with heartsWhen inviting others to Islam, it is important that we don’t scare others away. By telling the hard-core truth, at every start. The dai most talk such sentences he/she thinks will touch hearts. By slowly make people think and evaluate their life, where they are heading, and where they can be. Same people are motivated by positive talk/scary talk/inspirational talk, but at different times in their life. If we tell an already depressed person, you’re going to hell (scary talk), he/she will be more scared, probably too depressed to change. Hence he/she needs to be inspired with motivational positive talk.

Give Insight In Their Situation

An arrogant, wicked evil person, might carry on his works if we don’t scare him/her of the punishments. So maybe a tad more talks about how big Allah is (rehman/jabbar). Even the Quran speaks about everything in saying if you do this you will go to hell. The sentence after is positive, but if you do this you’ll go to paradise. Or vice versa. Allah’s speaking like this is of His Wisdom. Maybe to scare people from doing wrong without them loosing hope in Allah’s forgiveness. If they do good, no matter what happens in dunya, they will attain a good hereafter. If they do evil in dunya, no matter the outcome here, there hereafter will be full of punishments.

They Might Persist In Their Wrongdoing

Prophet Muhammad pbuh always changed his dawa style according to the one he was addressing. We are different, and get scared or inspired/motivated differently. Once there was a man at the door of the Prophet pbuh. His wife Aisha raa came to tell him pbuh who it was. He pbuh said, this is an evil person. When he came inside and they talked together he pbuh was nicer than he usually is with other people. After the man went, his wife Aisha raa was curious of why he pbuh was so nice to him, when he was so evil. He pbuh said because if he would be harsher, that person because of his evilness, could harm his pbuh, by telling evil stories to others, and helping them get spread easily. So to protect himself pbuh had to be nicer. We also know by another hadith that we can`t be to harsh with evil people. Or else they will just persist in their wrongdoings. Do you remember the hadith about the man who killed 99 people. He killed the monk that told him he had no chance for forgiveness. In Islam there is always a way back, because of Allah’s vast forgiveness.

Understand The Audience

When a dai says yes to speak in a gathering in different countries, he/she has to find out something about the audience to know what to say or how to say something, or what needs to be thoroughly explained, what are their issues/problems, what are their good qualities. This is psychology. A dai can`t give examples of entrepeneurs in a gathering of doctors. They won`t relate to it. And the vice versa. To touch hearts we have to talk about something that catches their attention and will keep them listening and focused at the same time touch their heart to help them change for the better. It is not easy. But most dais are doing an excellent job. Ma sha Allah. May Allah give them aafia and barakah in their lives and success in their work for Allah. Aameen. For us to give the same dawa to everyone, everyone had to be the same. We know that we are all different. So we have to adjust the sail according to where we want to go.

O turner of hearts, keep our heart firm on your religion, deen. AllahWhen someone does some wrong to you, it is allowed in Islam to do the same amount of wrong back, though Allah likes those who forgive people more than those who want justice for their harm. There was Saudi man whom forgave the killer of his family member, if he memorized the Quran. He made that as a condition to forgive him. SubhanAllah not only did he forgive, but something good came out of it as well, that will give them reward for it til eternity. It has probably changed his heart as well. Who can have the whole Quran memorized in his heart, without it changing his/her heart for the better. SubhanAllah ❤

Innocently Charged

How can we know that we are eligible to an eye for an eye equality, when someone wrongs us? For example, if someone blames a student, that he got help during the exam, and he is innocent, and he gets punished for it. If it later comes out that he was charged by something he was innocent of, how will they be able to fix the damage that was made on that persons reputation, loss etc.

Win People`s Support

We need to be careful of not letting our bad thoughts about some people, direct us to further harm them in any way. Whether that person has to pay back the fully recompense in what he did to you, depends on your situation. If you have a pen that you have stolen from someone, and someone steals it from you too, you can not go around accusing the one whom stole it from you, because the way you got that pen, wasn`t correct according to Islam. If you had bought a pen, had the receipt and then someone stole it from you, or tried to do so, your accusations would have been valid. How can we accuse other of doing us wrong, when we ourselves haven`t followed the rules and regulation properly in accordance to the sunnah and Quran. It wouldn`t have been fair. Even if we managed to win people`s support here, we would be doomed on the Day of Judgement, when Allah would ask us, how we got that pen?

Can You Fix A Broken Glass

This is why it is so important for muslims to understand the fact, that for us to have blessings in a bounty, we need to follow the rules and regulations of the Quran and sunnah. If we will not do that, some way along the way, that bounty, could instead harm us or be harmful to us, because our way of earning the reward, was haram. The best way to rectify this is to ask for forgiveness, make amends, and do the right thing. A glass that is broken can`t be put together. Not everything can be fixed. As long as we make amends and pray for the people we have harmed, and ask forgiveness for them, we will be forgiven for it. It is easy to put a hole in the wall when we get angry, but fixing it after isn`t possible. It will never be the same again.

photo, develop, negatives, quote, lifeLet It Motivate You To New Goals

Some of these faults can happen from becoming blinded with hate and anger, and think that what happened to you was the fault of so and so. But there is one thing we often don`t realize. Allah is in charge of every one of us. He has our hearts in between his two fingers and can direct it to anything he wants. When he changes someone`s direction, no one can undo that. He made the entire universe, He is in charge, and the Most Wise. If and when something doesn`t go as we want, turn to Allah, because he is the turner of hearts, and can fix everything. He made the stars and the planets and the galaxy’s and all that is in it. I`m sure fixing our problem is a tiny job for Him who is All-Competent. Always turn to Allah. We need Him just as much when we are blessed as when we are deprived. Through His help our blessing is beneficial for us, and through His help we get directed to something better when we are deprived of what we want. Turn to Him always and you will find Him in front of you. And think Well of Him.

What We Decide Will Determine The Outcome

Sometimes Allah blesses us with something else than what we wanted, because he knew our potential. We don`t know what is best for us, because we don`t know as much as an atom compared to Allah whom is All-Knowing and All-Aware. The believer is blessed because whatever happens to him if it is something good, he thanks Allah. If what happens to him was bad according to him, he practices patience. Sometimes what happens to us looks like a disaster at the time, but Allah willing, He can turn it into something good in the following years. For instance loss of a family member, or a job or someone leaves us. We have two choices. Go around being miserable in years coming and being blind to everything that is going good and all the opportunities that are coming our way, or we can make new goals, start on a project or education that will open new doors for us. We are not in control of what happens to us, but we are in control of how we are going to react to it. Let it break us or let it motivate us towards new achievements. It is our choice. What we decide will determine the outcome.

My Prayer..

“O Allah, place light in my heart, and on my tongue light, and in my ears light and in my sight light, and above me light, and below me light, and to my right light, and to my left light, and before me light and behind me light. Place in my soul light. Magnify for me light, and amplify for me light. Make for me light and make me a light. O Allah, grant me light, and place light in my nerves, and in my body light and in my blood light and in my hair light and in my skin light.” Ameen
