Norway is a little country with about 5,5 million people. Sweden is more than 4 times more populated. Still it is recognized for many matters. Today i will speak about how it is to travel fra A to B In Oslo as a muslimah.
So I had the opportunity to borrow my bros car the last 4 years. When my nephew got his licence he accidently wrecked the car. That meant i had to take the bus/train etc to get anywhere.
It wasn’t so bad at all In the start. I could read SoMe on the phone, or tasbhee on my hands. Walk more and increase my strength In legs. Though i’ve had many experiences that has wanted me to have a car when i can.
There is a lot of hatred/islamophobia etc against people who are visibly immigrants. I been harrassed and experience extreme amount of rude people almost daily. People of all ages. Mainly young adults and adults In general. I’ve even heard children/teenagers making monkey sounds when they where walking away from the station i was on. Some has even used words as «pig». Its so sad that this is how it has become.
Now that people know my identity on SoMe i feel the harrasment has increased. Difficult to live as this.
Please pray that my situation changes, and i also can be safe, whether outside or inside or traveling In the town.
Today i actually forgot my purse In the tube. A nice gentleman speaking sign language had found it. I got it back before i had to exit the tube. So Thank God there are still good people here. Or else i would happily think of moving away to another city or country. Lets see what happens. Please pray for me. May Allah grant us a good community / environment no matter where we live. Aamen
