Alhamdolillah, we humans are blessed with so much. And even if everyone have their own big and small issues, most of us are very blessed, and it is all thanks to Allah subhanataalah:) Alhamdolillah sum Alhamdolillah.. I was listening to dars-e-masnavi the other day when Pir Sahib was talking about the people whom spend their time praying. A lot of praying. He come up with an example and it touches us all in some way or the other. It is so important that we all stay as humble as we can at all times, me included of course.
Pir Sahib was talking about a person whom prayed a lot in his lifetime when he was brought up to the heaven he was questioned, the man was sent to Jannat because he had prayed all his lifetime. When that man started to walk, Astagfirullah he was walking very slowly and akharr ke chal raha tha. When the angels stopped him. At the same time another person whom hadn`t prayed at all in his life, or not followed any of the commandments of his Lord, was also questioned. That person was destined to be put in hell. When that man with no good deeds / achein amal heard that he ran to the hell, when the angels stopped him. And he was questioned why are you running towards hell, then he said, because in my lifetime I haven`t heard to any of Allah`s commands, so I thought this is my last chance, lets at least listen to this one so that maybe he can forgive me. When Allah Subhanataalah listened to this he ordered the one whom was so proud of himself and walked so slowly to go to hell because of his proudyness, and the one that ran, to go to heaven because he repented, and listened to His Lords commands. When the person whom had prayed all his lifetime heard this, he asked that I have prayed all my lifetime, can`t I at least get my reward for that, doesn`t that count at all? Than Allah Subhanataalah, weighed his good deeds. This man`s good deeds and all his prayers and every good thing he had done, didn`t weigh more than his one eye.
Lets think about this for a moment. We humans are so blessed that even if we want to give back to our Creator it is simply impossible that we can do such a thing. Than how much in debt are we, and will we always be, to our Creator? I would say yeah 100%. That is why it is so important to be as humble as we can and pray as lot as we can to show sincere gratitude for what we have been blessed with. Alhamdolillah, because it is a lot:) No one knows what will happen in the end, we can only pray and ask for Allahs forgiveness. Because there is not one person out here whom haven`t ever done a bad deed. Lets pray that Allah guides us to only collect good deeds, and keeps us away from shaitans misguiding that can lead us towards our doom. May Allah Subhanataalah always keep us on the right path. Ameen summa ameen.
I have come across a book “the ideal Muslimah”, you can find it in the bookstores. A wonderful book I would say for every woman whom has given herself on the journey to become a mominah. And for every man they have also made a book called “the ideal Muslim “, which I`m going to
“make”
my husband read when I get married. These two books are treasures for us to keep our iman tazah and to know what is expected of us in different circumstances with all the people we connect with from our parents, our spouses, our brothers and sisters, and our neighbours. I truly recommend it for everyone.
From the book mentioned above I read that Hazoor Pak ka irshad-e-paak hain:
“The muslim `s prayer for another muslim sister/brother in his absence, will be answered. There is an angel at her/his head who, whenever she/he prays for her/his sister/brother says “ameen, and you shall have likewise”".
Hazoor Paak has also said:
“None of you truly believe until he likes for his brother, what he likes for himself”.
This goes straight to our imaan. If we are pure of heart and want the best for each other we will also pray for each other no matter what. And those prayers will Inshallah be answered as long as they are without holding any grudge or anything. When you care for someone you do pray for them also:)
The Prophet Muhammad has also said:
“It is not permissible for a muslim to be estranged from his brother for more than three days, both of them turning away from one another when they meet. The better of them is the one who is first to greet the other” .
Some of the ethics described in the book is ” Do not break of ties with one another, do not turn away from one another, do not hate one another, do not envy one another”.
The Prophet Muhammad has said
“The doors of Paradise are opened on Monday and Thursday, and every servant whom does not associate anything with Allah will be forgiven, except for the man who bears a grudge against his brother. It will be said wait for these two until they reconcile, wait for these two until they reconcile, wait for these two until they reconcile”.
Praying five times a day is one of the five pillars which is Islams foundation. I remember when I was younger and I used to pray with my Dad a lot. When we were praying I always prayed a lot faster than what he did. Gradually as I grew older I began to realize the fact that the praying part is not that difficult as the attention part. Jab me choti hoti thi I just recited the words. After a time I memorized the meanings and tried to think about the meaning behind what I was reading. And now my nieces tell me that I use so much time praying. Which is just how I felt when I was young and dad used to pray with me. Funny na:) Of course when I`m calm and tension-free the attention rises, and whenever I`m worried I have difficulties reading the namaz like it should and forget. I guess this happens to everyone that prays. Knowing the meaning of what one is reading makes one believe in it from the heart instead of just reciting it, which is a must, I think.
I saw a program at Noor tv for a while ago that really got me thinking followed up by me reading Surah Younus from the Quran today. Yup I do think a bit sometimes:) But only a bit.. hehe
The program was about the fact that we need to realize that all the displeasures and the pleasures one get in our life are all given to us from Allah Subhanatalah. Sometimes to test us, sometimes to teach us a few things about sabr and other times to punish us if we`ve done something against His will.
The point is to always Allah hi ki taraf rojou karna in good and bad times. To be thankful and ask for His blessings:) Living in Norway as we are, I must say we are truly blessed:) We need to show our gratitude towards our Sustainer for it. It`s so easy to only be praying in difficult times, but we all need to also be thankful for everything in our life that is great as well. I know I`m not always as thankful as I should be. I`m going to start from today and onwards to try to be as thankful as I can at all times.
One more thing I realized today:) Yup very comprehensive you see:) Is that if someone is trying to hurt us or doing any black magic, they actually can`t hurt us unless it is Allah`s will that He wants to put us through that hurt. Therefore instead of getting more agitated when one thinks about the fact that others are trying to hurt us deliberately, we need to pray to Allah that he protects us from evil people and their doings. Of course we should also be careful and not mess with people whom are dangerous at any cost.
